Overrated? I think not

Avatar. All I have to say is wow! The story is about a ex marine who fills his recently deceased brothers shoes in a biological research position on a planet called pandora. There is an enterprise on the planet to mine a precious metal, but this plan is inhibited by the clan of indigenous "people" living there; that's where Jake Sully (the marine) comes in. Jake is working with a team of other avatars-people genetically linked with the form of a native, to try to negotiate the terms of the clan moving. Regardless of whether the storyline interests you or not you should go see this movie for the insane animation. The setting the movie takes place in is breathtaking and alien, yet at the same time believable. This movie was nearly 3 hours long and I would go see it again. The movie grossed a little over 2 billion dollars, after you watch it you will userstand why. It's unlike any animated movie I've ever seen.
